the crusades had like a million deaths over 200 years. don't be such a pussy that's not shit at all. there were around 10 million a year lost during ww2.

Nice logic...I'm sure your numbers are real accurate too. Either way it's irrelevant. I literally said that I wasn't trying to argue about religion, but of course the zealots see the word atheist n get all offended. So since we did reach the point of this lost cause argument, I'd like to present the truth behind Jesus for you: a bitch couldn't admit to her adultery so she made up some shit, a boy grew up thinking he was a miracle, he was smart enough to literally socially engineer half the world even to this day, n created a form of controlling the masses and instilling them with Morales because most people are too ignorant to be good without religion, n dude is still foolin ya to this day. Absolutely nothing wrong ...that's what I was trying to say when this started. I was just curious if people thought that they'd have developed the same Morales, or have the same stance on humane execution had they not been exposed to their religion.

Let's recap:
1. I say let's not argue about religion, do you think religion has shaped your take on humane execution? Result: We argue about religion.
2. We come to an agreement Jesus probably existed, but disagree whether he was "magical" or "god" or not...I thought that was us agreeing to disagree and it was over, but Result: You go all wacko and say some shit that makes me think your church might be a cult - and attack me with something as low as my niece getting sexually assaulted. :clap:
3. I say I respect other peoples beliefs, but happen to be atheist. Result: Turns into I'm trying to spread atheism and am a pussy.

I believe you can study religion and even practice it, but you can also realize that somethings can not be proven or that there is zero evidence that what you believe is real.
Now me I come from a very religious family. My studies of religion helped me realize that no fucking way the story I'm being told in todays/yesterdays time is real.
I do keep an open mind and very willing to discuss religion, BUT I don't think anyone can say they know.

Do you believe in god though? You could be agnostic atheist or agnostic theist. Neither claim to know god exists, but one doesn't believe and one does....

I'm one that don't know if he exist or not. Verdict still out. Might be some creature who can make things but can't control them. Might be something out of our imagination. Might be me. Might be you. Might be us. Might be nothing. I do know it is not the bullshit I'm being told today.

There's a difference between knowing and believing though. You can not know if god exists, but if you can't say 'I believe god exists', you're an agnostic atheist. That's to say, you don't have a belief in god, but don't claim to know one way or the other if he actually exists....
