I'm also interested in this. I know there's an article on Sustainable Village (the US distro for blumats) about using it successfully with a fairly large rockwool grow successfully.

Never used rockwool or bluemats, but I would imagine it would depend on how well the rockwool can wick the moisture out of the bluemats or how saturated the rockwool would stay
Saw that link, even mailed them but not much in feedback
I imagine it's up to the plant to do the wicking, the rockwool will stay saturated until evaporation occurs or there is a plant drinking up the nutes.
I think the problem lies in not creating a proper seal around the carrot an air pocket from what I have read can cause run away or malfunction within the blumat. Have seen other threads where this has happened in soil due to the soil been mixed with something like perlite ect.

Seen that link before and that's what got me interested. I also dont think it will be an issue. I would think rockwool would be easier than coco to use but majorly of pages I have read have been based on coco or soil.
So was hoping to get someone with experience in rockwool/coco/blumats and nutrients to give us a run down on their experience.
Appreciate your posts and feedback.

From what I've read, you need to dial the nutrients back a little bit compared to a typical drip system since there's basically no runoff with blumats.
