Well i don't think it will be sufficient light. Ive read around and it seems to me that 150 Watt HPS is good for two or three plants... So with that said, Im sure its possible but your plants might not yield as much as you would desire.

Yeah, i can tell from here they are also stretching. You deffinatly need more light in the mix. And you got good taste in shoes too. Circa!!!!

I use to have a 70 watt HPS security light, it was $50, for $100 exactly, you can get a 400 watt with a reflector, ballast, fully wired. For twice as much money you can get all the light you will need for 3-4 plants, esp in a small space. Of course you will also have to fork out a little more for sufficient cooling, but the difference in your plant will be more than worth it. For $125 you can get a 400 watt HPS, ballast, reflector, and an additional 400 watt MH conversion bulb. This is the best way to go.

If cost is a big issue, add a few strategically placed CFL's to the mix. You can continue to add more CFL's as she grows, as necessary.

Well maybe you should look at it like this... You have some lights, you know that it might not yield a nice crop, but none the less it will grow if done right. You should learn, im taking this is your first time growing. As i want to invest in some nice lights to grow some nice babies, but i have to do with what i have now. And so its still not all for nothing, its all a learning process:)

Christianw1985 is totally correct, this is a learning process, and is definitely fun. You should take use the most important, free resource you have, your knowledge. Everything you could want to know can be found here, or they'll show you were to find it. Take you time in the education process, it will make more of a difference than any other single thing in you growing process. Good luck and I look forward to seeing pics.

He is right.. You are running a 50watt, if you decide to replace that with a 400Wconcersion ballast, and if it DOES cost 125 for that set up, thats one hell of a bargen-go for it!!!! There will be no such thing as dissapointment. Use a MH for veg and HPS for flower. Yup best way 2 go, im sureu will see a 800% increase! good luck!

Maybe I mislead you, the 70wHPS is $50, at the depot, but I'll have to give you the ebay seller name for the 400w. I'm not BS about the price either, I have bought one myself, and am using it right now. He is a very professional seller, and i recommend him highly.
If your or anyone else is interested please PM me and i'll get you the proper info.
