hps heat ?

does anyone have any idea how hot a 400 watt hps system will get..i have a small spot in my closet im using..i will post some pics..but generally..does it produce a whole heap of heat????
 
I can't tell you the exact temp but I can tell you that you will definitely need a fan or two.

Oh, maybe this is useful. A HPS bulb is hot enough to light a joint if the joint touches the bulb.
