HPS digital timer questions

Hello guys! I am in S. America therefore we have 220v

I have my 600w hps hooked up to a timer then directly to the wall(in my flower room). MY question is: Can I plug in a standard power strip, for example (http://www.ways2gogreen.com/images/powerstrip.jpg) into the digital timer, with the digital timer going straight to the wall? Reason being is I want to add a couple CFLS for the sides and I have no more free power sockets. Would it be safe to plug in the ballast to the power strip along with 1 or two more 45w CFLS?

From my understanding was that you could only plug in the timer straight to the wall, and the ballast to the timer and thats it!

Thanks for all the help guys!!! Here are a few pics of my flowering plants, clones, veg room with DWC buckets ECT

yeah you can except make sure your power bar can support all the wattage. i have my complete setup except for my pumps on a power bar hooked up to a timer.

the power strip will tell you what it is rated for as far as amperage/watts...try it out...if it gets hot to the touch or trips the breaker then no.

220 cuts the amps in half so I would be stunned if it could not handle that load..considering a 600 watter is drawing around 300 watts and cfl's draw almost nothing.
