Hey all, I was considering purchasing a HPS setup for up to about a 4'x4' sized tent space. This is going to be the first HPS that I've ever owned, and I kind of want as many lumens as i can get. I was thinking around 600 watts and using a cool tube. But I've seen alot of ppl here using 400 watts. One of my main questions is about the ballast.
What are the advantages of digital vs magnetic. Which one should be quieter?
Also, I'm wondering if HTG supply is a good dealer. I've heard some bad reviews about them, but it seems like their prices are unbeatable. Everyone else's prices seem insane (is that normal?). What would be the best setup to go with? I've heard hortilux makes good bulbs.
