HPS AND LED during flower - Is that overkill?

Hi all -

I have a 400w cool tube but also have a nice LED lamp - paid $500 for it a year ago. It did pretty well for veg but lousy for flowering, so not my best investment. It's just sits around now so I thought about putting it to use. Does anyone know if it will help during flowering? Or is it just a waste of energy?

sure it does. it generates less heat and it can cover your dark area.

i hear the led is nice addition to the hps. put out a wider range of wavelengths. Idk if a coincidence but everytime i see a nice led grow thye seem to have a better tric production, nice and frosty, ive also read a bit of stuff on this same observations
