Hps and cobs?

Higuys, I'm planning my first grow and wanted an opinion on a lighting solution. My cab is 2'x3'x5', 6sq/ft. I want the benefits of hid and cob so I was thinking 2 50 watt cobs and a small hps, 150 or 250 watts. Hps in between the 2 cobs for 250 or 350 watts actual draw. Let me hear your advice on the light itself, ventilation and if this will be beneficial or just get a 200 or 300 watt cob kit. If I do should the cobs all be 3000k or should I mix. Thanks in advance. Go for 4 COBs. Forego the HID. 6" inline blower. Two to three 6" fans.

The way I understand it. Single color temperatures work better then mixed. 3000k is the middle road. Colors above 3500k are to the veg side. Color temps below 3000k are towards the flower side of the spectrum. 2100-2700k being colors for strictly flowering. I went from HID to LEDs then to COBs. The heat, fire hazard, and the efficiency of HID bulbs have dropped the dated technology off my list.

On the cabinet size. 5' limits a lot of growth. Taking in consideration the plant heights. Pot size. Light to plant distance. It'll be tight. You'll have about 3' total in which to grow a plant. A height of 6-7' will help with bigger plant drama. Not to say it won't work. Things will have to be kept short.

small HPS are not efficient so in this case there are really no advantages to using it vs LEDs

200W of cobs is fine, 300W a little much for that space but you could dim it
