My plant is about a month old. It is just some bagseed, so I don't know the strain. Here are the specs on my growroom and the upgrades I plan to make in the next week or so

Today -
lined with wrapping paper
small ac fan for input
60mm comp fan for circulation
80mm comp fan for exhaust
2x 6500 (23w?) 100W equivalent bulbs
2x 3000 (23w?) 100W equivalent bulbs

Soon to come -
lined with mylar
120mm comp fans for intake/exhaust
80mm comp fan for circulation
2x 6500 (23w?) 100W equivalent bulbs
2x 5000 (23w?) 100W equivalent bulbs

Size - 14"x14"x31" (about 3.5 cubic feet)
Temperature - 75* - 86*
Humidity - 30-40%
Soil Ph - about 6.5, planning on getting a Ph test kit for my water soon
Nutes - 1/4 strength Pure Blend Pro Grow, planning on increasing that to 1/2 strength next week
Watering - probly about weekly, I mist the plants and soil daily tho. moisture meter said i still had decent moisture at about 3"-4" last time i watered it

I'm gonna have to do something about the small plant on the right, i just dont have enough room for 2 plants

So, hows it look?
When I replace my 3000K bulbs, what rating should I go with? I know I can find 100W 5000K bulbs, but would it be better to go with 4100k?

Most people who veg with CFLs choose 6400k ones and for flowering, 2700k ones. IT doesn't hurt when flowering to leave a couple of 6400k in there either.

Lookin good too - looks very healthy - nice colour and the LST looks good.

I research all I can. I ended up with a couple 5000K ones in there with the 6500k. I just got the new fans in today, and damn do they move some air

the circulation fan is mounted with pieces from my old erector set hehe. now im just waiting for the mylar and the grow room can be setup the way I want it. Then all i will need is Ph meter and I should be set.

Wow. They look good. Im not expert (actually, iv never grown) , but could it be an idea to line the inside with some reflective foil or whatever, just for light distribution or whatever? Also, id be slightly worried lining the box with paper, not very fire retardant and maybe flimsy? Just as a precaution.

mylar is a very good relefctive material. I am going to line it in that as soon as i get some. as long as the bulbs arent touching anything I shouldn't be is risk of a fire....and even if they were i dont think they are hot enough to cause a fire

I got some leaves that don't look too good...

should I like not even worry about these leaves? or is there something critically wrong that should be addressed immediately? As you can see from the first pic the rest of the plant is in pretty good condition(aside from where the CFL got a little bit too close)

I still don't have the mylar yet. I got it off ebay and its taking forever to get here. Wish I knew of a hydro store nearby that I could buy stuff at.

well, it got worse! i'm thinking nitrogen deficiency? maybe magnesium?

Again the burn on the leaf in the 2nd pic is just from getting too close to the light.

should i just buy a bottle of like nitrogen nutrients and use that to increase the nitrogen level? or should i just up my dosage on my Pure Blend Pro Grow (3-1.5-4) up to a full dosage instead of half. I'm just afraid of giving it too much and causing problems.

looking good my friend. My young ones had that yellowing of the leaves early on and i gave them a dose of 1/4 strength Cal-mag which bounced them right back. Good luck and really nice plants.

figure i'd give an update...

Those leaves that were dying seem to just be lacking light or something, I pulled off a handful of dead leaves from under the upper canopy the plant creates, but as you can see form the pics, the rest of the plant looks fine. I am currently in a dark period, 36 hours of darkness before I goto 12/12. 12/12 will start tomorrow at midnight. That damn mylar still isn't here, so I am going to check out a hydro store my friend told me about. Anyway, heres some pics I took on friday(day 42).

I also took a clone of this plant so if it is female I have a good start on another plant by the time this one is done flowering.

It does get a little hot, but if i get a better power supply it should be fine. I have a baffle behind the fan to help light from escaping....i need to do this with my other grow room once the dark cycle is over. The clone is in 50/50 soil/vermiculite, and i'm using Schultz TakeRoot. Its been in there a couple days but it hasn't taken root yet. It looks to be alive and healthy so I'm not really worried about it.
