How yal insulating your grow tents

Currently growing out of a 4x4

I've a curtain built around it's exterior .

And have a tone of old wool lying around or blankets . Which I can cover the top of the tent but the walls and doors and all that jazz

What way do you insulate your grow tent if at all ... Heater

Step one is reducing airflow, just enough to control humidity.
I've used blankets and bedspreads. I also made a grow box with foam insulation board, same dimensions as my tent, about 10-15F warmer as I recall.

If the tent is on a hard floor, that can act like a heat sink on the roots. Too low rootzone temp can cause issues with nutrient uptake. I put rigid insulating foam board, pretty cheap, under the tent in the winter.

I put a floor in the bottom of my tent to keep the plants from sitting on the concrete in my unheated garage. But I have some of that rigid foam and I think I'll put a piece of that in under the plywood. My next plan is to put floor heating in.

Here's how I raised the floor.

I currently have a border on the ceiling around my tent with heavy duty blackout curtains... So thats a possibility if required extend a frame and build some sort of foam box

A friend in Colorado was using 20 HPS lamps in his basement and had heated floors because of it. I stayed at his house during the winter and was super nice.
