how will LST provide more yield?

i dont understand how u will get more bud from it? i wouldnt of thought it would be better bud either.

i know what LST is. its bending of the plant for space saving. i read in the faq "LST 101" about bending the plant to give u more space.


ok heres another way to ask the question.

look in my grow journal in my sig. i think my plants are healthly an lookin good. how would LST benefit me?

from what i understand the idea is so that the the top colas are a more even height allowing them to receive more light as opposed to allowing one cola to grow taller than the other bud sites therefore enabling you to keep the lights closer to the plant

Instead of one or two colas<--(topping) you get more bud sites receiving more light. more light = better growth = better buds.

EDIT: Just checked your journal and your plants are not big enough to LST anyway, you should tie down a few plants and see if you like the end product.

yer i know but once they start getting bigger and taller then i wont have chance to do it. so i was just wondering but both of u have made sense.

im not sure whether to try it when the time comes. i dont wanna mess up my grow. seems to be goin pretty well atm

i do it all the time just be gentle do a little each day as opposed to bending it too extreme angles
