Autos make no sense to me. They aren't that potent, don't grow very large, and can't be cloned.
I think your advice is poor to the OP.
Autoflowers can be cloned, but not the same way that a non-auto flower would be cloned. You just have to grow a male once, keep some pollen, then toss it in the trash. Take any autoflower you like and lightly brush a tiny bit of pollen on one of the lower branches. Harvest all the rest including this one, but keep the seeds from this one instead.
You'll have about 50 seeds off of one Autoflower.
Then instead of mothers, cloning, rooting, and then vegging, the OP would simply drop a seed in rockwool and then be done with it.
My experience with autoflowers is that they yield approx 1/2oz each regardless of the strain (Tried 8 strains). I was feeding them veg nutrients (450ppm) with a 1kW veg lamp too. Certainly NOT optimal conditions for one.

However, I did them just to fill the extra space in the veg room because why not, it's free!
Your advice would be suitable for someone who wants to have a perpetual harvest or someone who really wants clone strains not autoflower strains and can have the square footage to support that grow too. Now that you know how to reproduce autoflower seeds, I'm sure it'll make a little sense..........
