How to wire this light fixture?

I bought this at HomeDepot. It says 120v 60hz and each light bulb spot says "max 60watt"

I got two of them and I was going to put 23w CFLs in them for a total of 9600 lums.

I'm only try to grow 2 or 3 plants.

Anyways, how do I wire this up? Just cut an extension cord, twist the wires together, cover in tape? There are only two wires, I though it would have to be grounded.

Pretty much... strip all four wires back, black to black/white to white, twist together ina right hand twist. If you can get some merritts and twist those on. But vinal tap will do.

You don't even have to have positive/neg wires correct :) just make sure you put some caps & electrical tape on those ends after there twisted together :)

This is technically correct, but it's still a good idea to match up the wires properly. Usually extension cords have a series of small groves on the outside edge of one of the insulated wires, this should be attached to the black wire, and the smooth side to the white wire.

Ya, I totally agree. Sorry about just throwing out that it doesn't matter if pos/neg are hooked up correct, even though it doesn't matter in this particular case it is a good rule of thumb to always wire devices the way they are supposed to be wired.
