ummm, did you germinate the seeds prior to putting them in the soil or just threw em in the soil? you should've germinated, and i've never had to water seeds. i usually wait til they pop (after they've germinated) then throw them in the soil, and give it a good watering right then and there, a few days later a plant pops out and i water once it's dry on the topsoil. you should be putting your seeds into the soil about as far as your first pinky knuckle is long. then i alway pat the soil down so i dont have to worry about it washing up. if you have questions about germinating PM and i'll help ya out

Sounds like you're either watering it too much, or have planted the seed too shallow. If you've already had it in the soil for a day or more I wouldn't mess with it now. Gently cover it back up. When you water it again (if it's needed) gently sprinkle the water on, don't pour. Also - get a soda bottle, cut off the bottom and place the top over your pot as a humidity dome - it will help hold in the moisture and help your seed along. Good luck!:peace:

hey I did germinate the seeds there is only 11 of them.
I have them under a fish tank? would that work as a humidity dome?
so what percentage does it have to live had only been in 1 day?

a fish tank will work as a humidity dome as long as you make sure to pull it up once a day or so just to replenish fresh CO2. as for watering a small syringe or a water bottle with a few holes poked in the cap will work for the seedlings since there is not much pressure hitting the soil and disrupting the place where your sprout is.

Use a spray bottle to water them! Make sure not to water them to much they'll get pissy if you keep taking the soil off of them. Have you ever tried Rockwool? We've had the best luck using that!

Spray gun and mist the top of the seed never plant the seeds too deep or you will be waiting alot longer. It is far better that you put the seeds in a glass of water ph it first though at 5.5 i always add a little superthrive too leave them for 24 hours.Has soon has the seed splits plant the seed with the first white bit faceing down this will be the tail of the seed.Leaveing seeds in water for too long after the seed has split can cause alot of damage, the seedling will still grow but won't be has productive has others that you took out has soon has the tail showd it's self.If the seed has not split after 24 hours then put on a little kitchen roll wet it with the water out of the glass put it on a small plate and then put another plate on top[The clam method].Don't worry if the seeds take up till 7days sometimes longer but make sure they don't dry out and put somewhere warm.
