How to use cal mag

So just got some cal mag for my calcium deficient and magnesium def. Ladies. My one lady is really hit hard by it. So I started with 4ml since I'm in flowering stage. It says on the bottle every watering as needed, what does that mean? Do I just give it to them until they aren't showing deficiencies? Should I give it to them every watering? Is 4ml a good does or should I do 3 or 5ml? I'm using tap water. My ladies are autos as well. The pic is of the worst lady. She got light leaves, and little brown dots forming on her leaves.

hello
so just to clarify do you feed a complete 12 mineral formula containing N P K Ca Mg S Fe Mn B Z Cu Mo ?
if even one is missing then the plan5e die.
now with that said ...as long as you are feeding a complete fertilizer IT IS NEVER DEFICIENCIES. it is 90% of the time high medium EC because of lack of runoff .
if your medium ec is more then 50% higher than your feed 6iu will experience nutrient lock up display ing false deficiencies. they are deficient just not because they are not there but because they are locked up burnt leaves ( necrosis) is a big sign .
easy way to check is to water it with you full strength complete 12 mineral feed solution until some come out thr bottom
use ec meter to read this .
if your feed it 800 and your runoff is more than 1600 then it is 100% lockup .
the solution is to flush medium with complete nutrient solution until runoff ec drops. it should be maintained st 25 to 50 more then feed
800 in
1000 to 1200 out
if this is not it you run off will confirm

I use fox farm trio: grow big, big bloom, and tiger bloom. I heard its not the best, but it is what it is.

I do not runoff. I just pour 1,000ml into my pot and feel the weight. Shes drinking more, so im going to start giving her more water

ok you need to run off immediately!
plants DO NOT take up ALL minerals.
they take them up selectively and only at certain level re EC
5our plants are not suffering mag or cal defiency they are suffering from nutrient lockup.

here is a couple pages from rockwool in horticulture. this is about rockwool .the medium is differnt but the watering requirements for all hydroponic medium are the same. promix or soiless run an ec lower at 800 ec as opposed to 1200 ec in water or rockwool .
cation or pos particles like ccalcium or potassium are taken up by colloidal action from soil particles but anions or neg such as sulphate is taken up from liquid. that is the difference between watering soiless vs soil

yes . it cant hurt . no downside . just make a liter or 2 if complete solution. our it in and measure output
if it is ok then they got a bit extra water and you continue on your way .
IF it the issue you save your plant now and do not need cal mag which 5ou absolutely don't need if you are feeding s complete solution

are you close now to water? those look urgent . been growing 30 years semi commercially. have had 2 major products sold in stores
I really am concerned about your plants
what feed solution are 5ou using? I can google it
most 2 part contain everything.

you need to listen to John. i nearly killed one of my plants up until i checked the run off. look at the 2 plants below. i never drilled any holes in the pot on the left. there was no run off. when i checked the run off the ph was 4.0. i had to transplant the lady into a different pot.

here is a tiny little system I built for an elderly friend. 1x 600 watt hps
and 1 x 1000w hps .they are drip fed in promix hp . 10 plants under thr 600 and I6 under th4 1000 . she was doing ha4nd hand watering and spending like 20 hours a week .after I installed drip system and bucket in bucket drain her work dropped to 3 hours a week and easy to check run off . she got 3.3 lb total. pink kush

Already flushed the worst lady, just flushed the other today, and got two more to go. The others aren't crazy bad, like how the other girl was getting. Hopefully that fixes the issue. I ran 8 gallons through my pot. Its either a 2.5 or 3 gallon pot.

Next time, im going to flush my girls prob at week 5 compared to week 7. Never knew I had to flush. Im going to flush at week 5 next time, and possibly flush the last week of life as well

No you need to flush every day or two minimum and only if the run off allows a 2nd day.
