Trying to transplant from aero to dwc in net pots but was trying to find a way to cut the bottom of net pot so the roots can go in the water immediately. is there any way to do that? i was told styrofoam?
No need. What you do is hold the plant above an empty net pot, and let the roots curl up at the bottom. Slowly add hydroton, as you continue to hold the plant. Once you put the netpots in the container, the popping bubbles on the surface of the water will create a mist that will reach your roots. You'll want the water to be just below the bottom of the netpots, like an inch. Once your roots find their way through the netpots, you can drop the waterline a few more inches.Trying to transplant from aero to dwc in net pots but was trying to find a way to cut the bottom of net pot so the roots can go in the water immediately. is there any way to do that? i was told styrofoam?
