how to transplant from aero cloner to dwc?

Trying to transplant from aero to dwc in net pots but was trying to find a way to cut the bottom of net pot so the roots can go in the water immediately. is there any way to do that? i was told styrofoam?

No need. What you do is hold the plant above an empty net pot, and let the roots curl up at the bottom. Slowly add hydroton, as you continue to hold the plant. Once you put the netpots in the container, the popping bubbles on the surface of the water will create a mist that will reach your roots. You'll want the water to be just below the bottom of the netpots, like an inch. Once your roots find their way through the netpots, you can drop the waterline a few more inches.

Exactly as JSB said...should be no need to cut a hole in the netpot...besides, your roots shouldn't be so thick in diameter than that they can't crawl through the openings in the netpot? If they are, smaller roots will just branch off that are small enough to fit through...it's just a part of the process waiting that first day or two for growth to skyrocket. There may be a way around it I suppose, like if you could pull the roots through the openings before you fill in your hydroton. But you just have to be careful as roots are pretty delicate and breaking some may seriously stress your babies.
