How to subscribe to a thread?

Sorry I have to ask.

I'm usually pretty good at finding out stuff like that but it seems like I have been through everything and cannot find how to subscribe to a thread.

right above theres a little triangle, click the one that says "thread tools." then scroll to the bottom (3 down) and click "subscribe to thread"

used to be in the thread tools , i think the only way now is to post in that thread
