how to set up so many ballasts safely

I am learning how to set up my lights safely.
i have a 600 watt light with a sunmaster ballast i have 6 lights with ballast's which i need to hang up for my set up.

can any one help me from start to finish how to set up all my ballast's safely with out catching a fire
or direct me too a video which shows me how to wire my eletric safely in details.i have tried searching the internet but cant find any thing.

what i am confused about is how can i run so many ballast's from one mains is this possible or can it be dangerous if it is dangerous how can i safely do this can some one help please???
