Where I'm at,dealers don't even give you a whole gram,it's usualy .7 of a gram for 20$ LOL..they really shit people, but who weighs their sacks??

If you know somebody, probably 300 a oz,and grinders (nickle and dime sellers) break down the oz,bag up,and sell half of grams (.5) for 10$ or .7 for 20$

so 28 grams sold at a .7 a supposit (bunny ears) gram each=8.4 grams left over wich they usually keep for them selves to smoke.

so if you want a eighth you might really get like 2 grams,or if you want a quater you will really get like 5 grams, they really are petty with their hustling around here, and shystie.

If you are a student (High School or college) then finding smokers is easy. Otherwise, distribute to sellers.

Hey bubblegum, I plan on selling to a dealer just to recoup the initial cost of getting my grow together. Prices here are $20 a gram of high grade. He wants to give me $200 per ounce. That's $10 a gram. I know he has to make some profit, but I'm wondering if at 50% I'm getting ripped off. I don't plan on selling to people because frankly it's too much work, it's illegal and I just want to get high and not be broke ^_^
Math much? 28.35 grams per ounce, $200/oz is $7.05/gram.

Everyone should. Especially if you suspect you are not getting what you paid for.

Because a lot of people don't have good hook ups. You only know 1 guy that sells, and he gives you 2.5g eights. Your options are to take the 2.5 gram bag, or not smoke at all. I know I have been shorted by someone before, but there is really nothing I could do. Who can you complain to besides the guy that is selling to you? He obviously doesn't care so you just gotta deal with it until you find a better source. It's not like there is a regulatory agency you can report him to. It's a moot point anyway. He buys an 8th for $30, pinches a gram, and resells it to you for $30. If you insist on getting the full 3.5 grams he will just up the charge so he can buy what he wants. Take it or leave it, and in the meantime try to find another hook up that won't pinch.

Asking for it to be weighed is the deepest point of disrespect. I've beat bitches down for asking me to weigh it in front of them. Beat them and thrown them out down my flight of stairs. Yeah, they don't come back, but you don't get robbed either when word gets around your out for blood.

I used to be street level, and around here and I suspect most places your actually out on the street, its about maintaining a reputation. You have to be feared else a guy will ask you for 1g, then again the next day, and most likely again that night. Tomorrow he ask for an eighth and when he gets to your location he says hey man my friend here would like to get one too. Stupid people say yeah no problem, they pull out their whole stash to make the new weight and bam! Knocked the fuck out!

I pull out my pistol...

I find it disrespectful because I never shorted, I always put in extra. As you said reputation is important. So when everyone knows, and thats how they know you... Why do they ask?

It's one thing to say hey man! My friend is throwing in, can you split it for me? Another to ask for proof that its right... Again, for a close friend I will bring out a small stash to weigh his bag up, but if it is a random you need to know what it is prior to them arriving, and if you don't then you have someone sit with them in the other room, while you weigh up in private.

Biggest mistake anyone ever makes in this game is assuming everything is okay and everyone is your friend. If you are making any money on the street you are dealing with too many people that you don't know to be kind... They need to know if they decide to rat, they will find themselves 6 feet under.

Had to many friends say "Man I just don't get it! What did I do! Im nothing but good to everyone.." Without me, many of my friends would have been robbed.

This life isn't easy.

It's easy to say to deal to dealers... not easy to do so if you don't have a lot of connections... and guess what why should they trust you if they don't know you? Taking care of supply and business is easy -- finding good customers (without getting busted or without them getting you busted) is the hard part.

Building a good customer base is essential, best way to do it is to do it slowly. If you aren't coming off your Stash, oh well Jar it and store it. Only going to get better like a fine wine. It takes years to develop a customer base that brings in good money with little risk. For the first harvest or two, I wouldn't care... Dump it fast as you can because you aren't going to get heat over a lb or two. But after that calm it down, ramp up your price, and start weeding through your new leads by performing test. Front to some, leak information to others, and ask the other if they've heard etc.

Invest in a metal detector, pat them down at the front door, scan them, and make them leave the cell phone at the front door. Bring them into your designated area where you have prepared for anything. I usually have a pistol under the table, a sawed-off under the couch, and a throwing knife here and there. None of these things are obviously placed.

Always, Always, Always follow your client into your room, never the other way around. Made a new connect once, he met me at his door in gym shorts and a wife beater (i.e. no pockets - no weapons) as we walk in his house he had just received a very large shipment of Grade A... With the arsenal I carry on me at any pickup... You can bet the thought crossed my mind to remove him of his possessions. Would have if it weren't for more money in the long run.

Morale of the story, Greet your client at the door, invite them in. Close the door and ALWAYS LOCK IT. Common rob plan is for the client to unlock the door, or not close it all the way so his buddies can run up in your home after. Remove them from the situation by closing it yourself, making sure its locked, and push it once more to make sure its closed well.

I wish none of this on anyone, but while in Houston I witnessed a friend at a young age murdered. We were walking down the road and they tapped his shoulder, he turned and they removed his head from his shoulders with a sawed off double barrel to the face. This changed my life, and I have warded off many Robberies and built a reputation to be respected.

You don't have to be "Mobbed up" Or Gangster/Gangsta, you just have to live in reality. When dealing with illegality, you deal with another type of person. Most people will shudder at the thought of breaking the law, I would wager most here would kill if it came to it.

Be a kind man, demand respect in your home. It is your place of protection where you hold the ball in your court. You can shoot a man in your home and after a bit of cleanup, call the cops if you'd like...

Or find a 50lb bag of Lye, and a shovel.

Edit: Get a damn concealed weapons permit.

Sorry but wtf is wrong with everyone... i HATE whoever started all this wrong math crap. Eith is 3.5 quarter ounce is 7grams half with 14 ounce is 28. You can google these thing... its like people who deal with coke say when buying an ounce its supposed to be more than 28g... wtf, an ounce is an ounce. If you buy 28gram then thats what you ask for. You want 30 then its 30... its anoying to see people ask for an ounce an expect more than 28grams or ask for an eith an only get 2.5 grams...

Kinda like that elementary school question, what wieghs more a pound of feathers or a pound of bricks? Then answering a pound of feathers. A pound is a damn pound no matter what.
