How to remove moist, high-alkaline zone?

I got a warning from someone in another forum that this plant, 23 days old in the last picture below, is getting too much N. I thought everything was fine, because the soil (fresh Foxfarm Ocean) down a few inches is dry and consistently shows 6.5-7.0 pH. BUT, I angled the probe down about 6-8 inches under the plant and found a too-moist pocket that's reading 7.5-8.0! So now I'm thinking that my roots are fighting two problems -- wet feet and alkaline pH. She's only gotten two feedings over the past week at 1/4 strength Mother's Earth Tea in RO, about 3/4 cup total below 7.0 pH, but apparently that's going down below the root ball and turning alkaline. So the nitrates from the organics are doing what they do, and I overwatered.

The question is, what to do now? I've also just started LST, so she's pretty pissed off I'm guessing, but still LOOKING great.

Just flush your soil w/ph'd water and you should be fine. the top soil does dry quicker than the stuff at the bottom but thats to be expected. wait until you know the soil is dry before watering. What do you ph the water itself you give them? Your ph is a tad bit high but its not a real big deal, as evidenced by how good and healthy looking your plant is.
