How to receive notification to post reply

How do you go about receiving an instant notification when someone replies to a post that you made? I have been trying to figure out a way to be notified when someone replies to a post so I'm not having to search through an entire thread to find it.

Help would be much appreciated.

I see where it says "Track Messages" but I'm not positive on how to activate it to start tracking my sent and/or received messages.

you can have emails sent to you when people post on a thread you post in if you want. top of the page click thread tools, subscribe to thread, then change the notification type before adding it

Thanks for the quick reply. Does that work the same way for instant notifications? And, is there a way to receive notifications that will send you directly to your most recent post and not just the very first post you made within the thread?

Just set it up to send it to my panel. Hopefully that will work

Guess it didn't work. Still says, No notification on my subscriptions panel

Never mind, I just noticed that in order to see last post you made there is a type icon and to view the first there is a similar icon that points down. Seems like that is going to be the easiest way to find my most recent post.. Thanks for the help

Yes, it's all done by using Subscriptions. Go to your General Settings, and click to Subscribe to Threads I Post In. Then set your Subscription Options to Notify you in the way that you want.

At any time you can go to your Profile page, and View My Threads/Posts. Or you can go to your Control Panel (My Rollitup) and View Subscribed Threads.

Thanks. Yea, after I posted the question I stopped being so stupid and figured it out. I'm blaming it on being tired. hahaha
