How to re-purge crumble wax?

I was wondering how I could purge some crumble wax I have? I think it has too much BHO in it. Can I re-purge it? I don't have a vac chamber and this is all new to me. Is there a way to purge this wax again? Thanks.

you have too much bho in your bho?

and no usually when it waxes up to get it to re-liquifiy would require you to turn it to perma goo and de-carb it

what snaps says is your best bet

I didn't make this stuff. I've never made any BHO, I've only tried qwiso a few times. So winterizing is about it? What a low heat? I'm in Ca., the 150proof Everclean is illegal. Is there any other sources for ethanol in Ca.?

What makes you think there is still butane in it? Does it smell like tane? Does it sparkle, crackle, or flame up when touching it with a flame?

It is possible it is properly purged but might just have been made with older material. If so the product you can get from this is a half waxed up and half more oily taffy consistency.

It has a odd after taste when I smoke it and it sparkles a little when I put a flame to it. It's a crumble wax consistency, not wet or sticky at all. I understand that most oil/wax will have small amounts of BHO left in it but I read that when it sparkles its got too much butane left in it. Would winterizing with iso help? I don't know where I could any ethanol.

if it waxes up to quickly it can get butane and water stuck in honey comb, i have had it happen had the nice gold cream colored wax and it would spark up

It is crumble wax. Some you can clump together easy and some is hard to stick together. Some of it sparkles more than others. It doesnt crackle or pop when i smoke it with a Epen and glass globe. It only does it when i put a small piece on a pen and put a flame to it. Would winterizing with iso be worth it or should I try to get some ethanol? I'm not sure that I can get any ethanol.

If it is dry to the touch, it should be purged enough.

If you are putting a flame directly to oil, to test for residual solvent, well that isn'tvery accurate..
THC is flammable and will catch fire.

Some parts are.dry? And some are tacky?...

Do a side by side..
Dab the dry and access...

Dab the sticky and access..
Keep the dry stuff.

One way ive tried that seems to be fairly accurate for checking crumble is to take a small piece .5 usually and do water bath til oil liquifies and reads 95-100 degrees then let it sit at room temp. If it becomes glass/shatter it was purged properly. May not be completely accurate but seems to work for me.

After doing some more reading I think this crumble might not have too much bho left in it. I had several different batches made for me, some drier than others. When I put a flame to it, it melts fine but when I keep heating it sparks a little. As for the water test- if I can melt it and turn it into shatter, I would but I've heard it will turn into perma- goo. It does have a good smell, can't smell ant butane. It smokes good. I tried some with a epen glass globe setup. It doesn't pop or sizzle.

I think I found the problem. I tested some more and I'm not getting the sparkles. What happened is i was using a crochet needle to put the wax on when I was flaming it. This time I use a stainless steel dental tool and its not reacting, just melting. I guess the coating on the crochet needle was reacting to the flame. I watched the YouTube videos on flame testing and they did not match the reactions I was seeing so I suspected it might have been due to the needle. The off taste I was getting is from the cartomizer. Thanks for all the help.
