I'm starting my seeds for the 2021 outdoor season and need advice to prevent my plants from preflowering once I out them outside ...

I start off with 18 hours on 6 hours off then as the days get longer outside around April may ill try to dial the timer down to 16-8 or 17-7 want to get as much advice as I can on this topic because its probably one of the most stressful things having the plants preflower so want to get everyone else's opinion...

Didn't read the clip. But I begin working my plants outdoors when temps are at least 50F min.. And 13.5 hours of sun. I start under my patio overhang. I place the plants in direct only until they start to droop. Then under the overhang again. About a week and they are acclimatized to full sun.

Well I'm pre vegging my plants indoors now In January so by the time may comes around they'll be big and established ... should I just keep them on 18 - 6 all the way until I bring them outside ?
You will have some monsters by then. General drop is in April in MI for outdoors. Don't be afraid to top and keep opened up. They will explode if in a good base once in the sun.
