How to pot clones for DWC

I started the same way. The issue you have will be from going to drip to DWC as in DWC the medium can not stay moist. The problem I ran into was during the drip, the roots did not really grow out of the cube b/c they were getting everything they needed and no use in searching for more water/nutes. When going to DWC, especially in the critical 1st three weeks of flowering, I would stop dripping but the roots were not elongated enough. So I did the following:
cloned as normal using rockwool cubes-I would gently cut open the cube after 2 weeks and gently pry away the cube to expose the roots. I than had a mini bubbler tray with a dozen slots and they went right in, inserted in a 1/2 piece of neoprene foam. than to their own DWC after 2 weeks or so. and than to flower.

I had all sorts of drip configurations going but soon realized how very simple DWc was.
