Just curious, but what strain(s) and what lighting over how large an area?

I don't know the answer from personal experience, but I've heard a lack of enough light can create fluffy buds and mixing in a MH with a flowering grow makes denser and more potent buds.

I am using hydro i have 4 1000 hps in a 12x10ft room. There is plenty of light. U can see my growjournal theres a link at the bottom.

So no one has any tips from personal experience eh? OH yeah ive grown lots of diff strains this last time was cheese, and kish though. the chesse hardend okayt but the kist is fluffy. Im trying to maximize my weight so any advice would be stellar!

Lol at the playgirl comment

Try Humboldts' County Gravity,it's a flower hardner,you use it 3 weeks before the end of your flowering cycle for 5-12 days and drop the nute strength by 1/2 for hydro.

I'm just newb... but my buds are rock hard...

I use 1 bloom nute and h2o2, nothing else ... 48 lollies under each under 600HPS... in ebb flow... fuct style...;-)

I'd have to say it is related to genetics more than any other factor... when considering an op with dialed in temps, rh, nutes... etc..

I know you can't feel it.. but this strain is really rock hard... full calyxes with almost no hairs... dense... pretty good for bagseed... I guess :razz:

But it's just a newb's opinion...

I'll be curious to see what you find with the extra chemicals...:clap:

Good Luck!!! :joint::peace:

And just for comparison...

Here is some Juicy Fruit... in the same op... same nutes.. same lights.. same everything...:o

Yet is is soft and fluffy as bud gets...:shock: 1/4 of the weight per volume compared to the bagseed above...

Agreed, with genetics some plants already produce dense nugs but Gravity does make your nugs harder,I have used gravity with a strain I grew a couple times before without gravity and the difference is definitely noticeable.
