Ive got 2 plants and their ph is around 7.0. The lower leaves are starting to yellow and die off and I was thinking I may have a ph problem? Is 7.0 too high?:peace:

5.8 ph for hydro and i think 6.5 for dirt but i could be wrong
Ya 6.5 for soil. Get some ph down and flush with 6.0 water till the runoff is 6.5. Do it again if needed. Some peolpe use potash, but it is also a nutrient so I would stear away from that.

Use ph down... mix it in your water to get the perfect 6.5 ph and then pour the water on your plant and test the ph from the water run off.. im not a soil grower but i heard thats what need done

i use ph down to lower my ph, however if you dont have much money, i think you can use apple peelings and orange peel etc to raise/lower your ph, im not sure what fruit to use however, i use banana peel to get potassium to my plants :)

Its definatly my ph. I bought this soil that said it feeds for 9 months. That was my mistake I think. Should I flush the soil?

don't flush, the water releases the ferts in the soil causing major headache. a ph of 7 is not going to harm your plants, just keep feeding with water ph'd to 6 when needed. do not over water self feeding soils. biggest mistake made with this type of soil. good luck, kevin

got any pics, it almost sounds like you might be trying to take to much care of your plant. like a good mother you worry to much.
