it may well be diferent where you are, but here in the UK bee's aint really a stinging risk.... but if that's a genuine issue, maybe you should speak to the property manager, or get a little civil advice..
someone maywell love that tree as said earlier, and the tree aint really the baddie here.. heck, i'm being a hippie but we need more greenery and the insects etc that live in them.. get your green fingers out and plant some flowers or perhaps a nice shrub to attract away from your house

the pot ninja lives across the road, in a similar apartment.
he see the guy run away from the swarm of bees and drops his half smoked joint.
pot ninja goes mental, what a waste of weed!!
tries copper nails, bleach, diesel and all the other things mentioned.
then gives up and rips up the tree with the hummer he nicked from those south americans in the first one.
he then picks up the used joint, and smokes it away
