How to keep em vegging longer outdoors

Hi, I just started with 6 clones in pots outside in CA. I've been reading that keeping them in the veg state longer will make them bigger and have a better harvest. When doing this outdoors, how do you keep them in that state longer?

Once the darkness hours get longer they will veg. (12/12 Light/Dark) The only way you can avoid this is if you can put lights on them at night....

yup cannabis is annual outdoors so you cant really control it. i think if you try to play God you could get some hermi's. in september if you are in CA it will turn to 12/12 so you have about 4 months to veg. and it will still grow when its flowering in september so you are fine. happy growing!

Thanks a lot! So what do you estimate they'll be doing between now and September? Flowering? Will I be harvesting before then and then letting it grow again?
