How to increase my nutrients

I am at the point where I want to increase the amount of nutrients I am giving my mature seedling.

Should I change the water when I add more nutes or can I just add it to the nute solution I already have?

I am running a DWC system.

Best to start from fresh as you dont know what nutes are left in your res. A plant will drink up nutes when it needs them, your ppm may read 350ppm for instant but you dont know what the Npk ratio is that is left in your res. For example in early growth stage the N is most needed and the plant will drink it up as a priority over the P and K. Plants dont always need the nutrients that are available to them in the quantities that are present.

Im not a hydro guy so I dont know how much help Ill be but, Ive heard most people change nute solution every 1-2 weeks depending on concentration of the solution which you should know by using your ppm meter. Some people top of the res with plain water, adjust ph and when ppm gets about 200-400 the change the res. Usually this takes about 1 week. Some top of with full strength nutes, balence the ph, check ppm. When Its about 200-400 they flush for 3 days with 1/4 stength solution then chenge to full again. This takes about 2 weeks.

Great point. I didn't think about the fact they may use up at different ratios of NPK resulting in an inbalance.

What he said, I always change mine every 2 weeks min, if I change feeding I've always started fresh.
Im a noob and dont have a TDS, haven't had any hydro problems yet.
