How to harvest main cola?

My main cola has like 10 or more huge tight buds. The other branches were a no brainer, just cut and hang to dry, but should I leave all the buds on the stalk when harvesting the main cola - or should i cut the buds individually from the main cola? There isn't much stem to work with off the buds to hang try off the main cola. The answer is probably obvious, but I am a newbie lol hence I would post here.

leave them on the stem to dry. it makes it much easier. if you cut them off you'd have to tie them all where as if you left them on the stem its one tie and done

i always leave the buds on the cola as long as they are tight with each other and there isnt a shit ton of stem between them. So it looks like one big ass bud! from dry to smoke, oh and to show off to a few trusted friends and get their ohhs and ahhhs!!

i agree w/ the two prior posts...however i would like to remind you that it is unethical (at least in my mind) to sell people stems (even though they are quite light)...just make sure you get the majority of the stems out of the equation after drying...

I have also heard that excess stems in the curing process could turn out bad (i.e. mold, excess water, etc.)

Sweet, thanks for the tips! And efff that - I am not selling this bad boy! It's my first grow, and turned out to be some delicious Bubba Kush! My main cola is longer then my forearm! One more day of drying, then cure time!
