How to grow a Pound of Bud In a Tight Place!

1 pound yield

250w = near impossible, NASA IQ required
400w = difficult but not unachievable
600w = easy as 3.14
1000w = dirp, I did it!

More lumens means more yield, I don't care what anybody else says.

Yes but somebody will point out the one guy that allegedly pulled 1lb off 250 like it's the easiest thing in the world to do. They probably can't find a second one though....

Also if you can afford it add a little co2. I sure noticed a nice boost when i did.
Your only using a 3x3 so you dont need the real expensive regulators and a huge tank. Just get a small adition

the average adult male exhales at least 1 kilo of carbon dioxide per day, the longer you stay in your grow room the better, unless your body temperature raises air temperature.

I get 2.4 pds from one 1000hps in a 5x6, One pound is a relistic goal but more light is more reasonable, 250w aint gona cut it. more light = higher yields, denser buds and better quality. will require c02, airconditioning in my opion.

See if I do move up to a 400 or 600 hood then im spending double the money and would honestly pretty much have to start all over. Then I would have to pick up some inline fans, muffler, etc........I'm in a recession!

Why can't I just grow 4 plants at 3 feet tall, wouldn't that be very close to a pound? If I just grew 5 ounces from one plant it can be very possible I think! But I'm not an expert! Maybe I will speak to my Sugar Lady about it, maybe she can Buy it all for me!!! ->:hump:

More plants in less space is going to reduce the overall potential of each plant because they have to share the space. So instead of 1 plant having 3x3 to grow you have 4 in a 3x3. No difference really. If you honestly want to get a pound spend the money and get a 400w ballast and light. You can use w/e hood you have. Just not the ballast or the bulb obviously...

Ehh. I think you could get a 1/2 lb easy in that space.. but a full lb? youll need a PERFECT enviro. and it will get cluttered.

My Entire Grow Closet is a Walk - In Closet that is 11ft x 5.5 Ft I am Using an Area at one end of the Closet that is 5.5 Ft x 3Ft with Mylar on the walls. Dynagro Nutes w/Bud Candy. Currently have 8 Plants from clones at 20 Inches High, Humidity range from 25% to 35%, Temp Between 74 & 81 Degrees. Using 400 Watts HPS at 16 Inches from the tops. Not really trying to get a pound. Just a quality yield. Later on I am going to use the entire space with 2 600 Watt HPS and shoot for the 3 Lb mark after I perfect the quality of the strain.

more space doesn't = bigger yield.

a 600w in a 3x3 is more efficient than a 600w in a 4x4. The lumens is more concentrated in a smaller area thus the plant in the area gets more light.

It does with more plants & lumen. I would agree with you, More Lumen in the smaller area will be more productive. More lumen means that the light can penetrate the shadows of the buds which in turn makes them more dense and weigh more.

I totally here what you guys are saying! That 1/2 Pound sounds good as well. The reason I'm looking to get that kind of weight, is so I can have Bud for a few Months! Well right now I have a White Widow seed Germinating and I have a few Ideas that I can do too her to try and get the Max potential out of my light and the size of the closet! So I'm really excited to see how she comes out.
