Hi im planning on making and mixing a small amount of thc oil into a cbdoil which im planning to buy. So which producure should i use to extract oil from my cannabis? I've heared that rick simpson oil should be very good. My next question is how to know how much thc oil i should use in my cbd oil? My goal is to make a oil which helps for painrelief.

If you are extracting a small amount, I would use QWET. BHO requires more capital equipment investment to do safely.

CBD works for pain all by itself. I suggest that you titrate to develop your formula. You can take them separately until you determine the ratio that gives you the effects that you seek, and different strains have different effects.

If you test your extract, you will know what percent THC it contains, so can calculate the mg/ml. I suggest that you start at about 10 mg/dose and titrate up.

QWET sounds like a good method. Yes i would have to experiment and see what
ratio that works. I will se if i can find an analyzer which shows the percentage of thc. Can you recommend any ?

It depends on what you want to do with the extract. If you want to smoke it, I would make QWET or QWISO.

Rick Simpson oil is typically not a nice smokable product, it is designed for ingestion.

We use an SRI gas chromatograph. Are there any labs in your area who can run it for you?

Not to mention that Rick Simpson developed his process around Varnish Makers & Painters Naphtha.

Ok i see, im planning on making oil for ingestion. Well i have no lab which can test the thc. Fadedawg yes i have also heared about that cbd can give painrelief but it doesn't work on me. Though i think cbd oil with a small amount of thc could help me.

Without numbers from lab tests, the next best thing is probably titration. The two oils don't have to be mixed to achieve the intended goal, so I suggest that you take the CBD and THC oils separately.

Take one full dose of CBD oil, and work your way up with the THC extract dosage.

Tolerances vary considerably, but around 100mg of RSO is typically about one good dose for an average tolerance person. As some people OD at far lower doses, I suggest starting around 25 mg and titrate up.

Once you establish the ratio that works for you, mix the two together at that ratio.

Good point i could try titration and even use the oils seperate. Though i find it hard with the amount to ingest allthough you gave me some advice. Different strains can vary very much in strength. I really only want a very subtle effect from the thc.

I think once its made into a concentrate that the amount of variation between strains should be a good bit less.

Check out Flambe for cooking, or 200 proof reagent ethanol from a scientific supply.
