How to get seeds?

Hi, i was wondering how i would go about preserving one of my plants. I'd like to grow the same one again, with which male plant would i have to pollinate the female to get the same female plant? Can any male plant do? Seems one of the plants will be smaller, so instead of growing it out, i'd rather get seeds from it. Cloning is not an option as it has never worked for me.

ok thx. So just because my female plant will produce seeds..there is no telling what those seeds will be? It can be anything? I just wanted the same strain, i thought it was possible, not that important i guess.

the same strain is possible if it is pollinated with a male of the same strain but if I understand correctly, strains can have different phenotypes. think about it how you and your brother come from the same two parents but you aren't exactly the same.

I know about phenotypes, i understand it's not possible to get an exact replica of the female, i just wanted the same strain. I think i'll save the trouble and just spend the 8$ and buy the seed so i can be sure:)

You could stress that particular plant in order to force it to become a hermie ,producing a male flower on a female plant. This would pollinate the flowers, and producing seeds that would be primarily female once they sprout. It's a kind of advanced technique that, for now at least, is beyond my capabilities. I understand the theory, but have never done it personally.

Surely someone will know the details and can guide you through the process.

ya, i think so too lol. No, i have no male plants, was just wondering for the next grow how i can possibly get seeds of a specific female. I think the suggestions are right..in the end, it'll cost me more trying to make them than to buy them lol, and knowing me, i probably wouldnt be able to make them.

Make some CS ... Spray a branch or two .... Or clone out a branch , then TREAT that own to become a " pollen plant " ... Save the FEMMY pollen and dust your main plant you want to seed. That is what I am doing ... I cut branch and am growing it out to become a pollen making plant. She is about 3 nodes in now but will let her grow out a little more then spray her daily 1 week before flip to 12/12 . Then wait for " her " to pop some LADYNUTS then let mature til I harvest pollen ... Simple.

After looking up the cost of silver nitrate and sodium thiosulfate, it would be far cheaper to just buy the seeds. Unless you can't get it in seed form, only in a "clone only " strain could I see a justification to buy them.
