Thanks for the reply, I’ve been picking them off by hand for now but I think I’ll try some neem oil, it’s been a few years since I grew last so I’m trying to get back in the swing of it

Ladybugs like Rainbow Warrior stated. Or green lacewings. Check for ants nearby. They farm aphids. Terro baits have worked well with keeping ants at bay for me. Best to get rid of them before flower starts. Their shit leaves a black sooty-like substance in the center of the colas causing mold.

FYI, you cant just put water and neem oil in a spray bottle without emulsifying the neem oil first.

Insecticidal soap works well, but make sure you wipe the soapy residue off after some time. I have burnt my plants before leaving some brands on. Ladybugs work well for aphids too, you can get them at grow shops or garden centers. If it's ants that are farming the aphids for food (you will know cause you will see tons of them) then you gotta deal with the ants first. Neem oil is probably the safest and best way to deal with them, but for some reason I can almost never find it for sale in my area.
