i searched a lot about cfl bulb reflectors but i couldnt find any for cfl. (not for walls!)
i have an idea to make it which is i need a cardboard + mylar to stick it on cardboard's surface although it will be flexy and not fit and not stabled.
anyway i want to hear ideas from people who re experienced.
what type of metalic materials can be acceptable?
chrome, nikel, iron, thick aluminium?

Maybe I don't get it. You can buy clamp reflectors that work great with cfls and lowes and home depot for $10-12.

seen folks use an aluminum disposable pan like for cookin turkeys in

and seen em made out of beer/soda cans

yes i have seen that once before in a topic. he rips a drink can and attach the bulb and orher equips. under a can. i think for a huge bulb i want a 1lt. beer can : )

it wont be easy to find something like that in my country :D
it looks usefull but old-fashion. but at least we know it is made of aluminum and it is substitutable with another decorative ones.
i am started to think that cannabis growing is tiring me lol

I cut a 2-liter bottle down the middle and lined the inside with mylar the neck fits in quite well to where the light bulb screws in, but I haven't put it to use cause I don't know if it will heat up too much.

can reflectors are a pain in the ass to make, and from my experience - CRAP.
small baking trays seem to me pretty simple to adapt into a reflector, very cheap to get, readily available and highly reflective.

do you mean light ones which are easy to change its shape?

i did it with pie trays here is a pic

they just sit there and reflect the light, not the best but better than letting all that light go to waste. and they work just check out my grow lol

good!
so according to the saying" better than nothing", i can easily have these things and they are cheap as well.
so if we compared a piece of mylar on a cardboard surface with pie tray, which one would reflect light most or you prefer?

If you get enough wrinkles out of your mylar that would be more light reflective than aluminum, it's been said aluminum reflects more heat than light. But it does reflect.
