How to cool my grow area efficiently?

I have a 8x8x8 enclosed grow area in which I have 4 1000 watt HPS bulbs. (1 bulb per 4x4ft). Im growing in soil medium so Im not terribly anal about having my temps be perfect to avoid root rot and what-not. I was looking into these "heat exchanger" exhaust coolers but Im a bit pessimistic as to how well they actually work. Ideally Id like to daisy chain my 4 air cooled hoods together via 1 duct and cool all 4 lights with a heat exchanger.

Is this realistic?
What are some numbers I should consider?
What are some other options?

Please advise

I have my ac vents blocked to all the rooms except my grow room. In addition, I put in a ceiling vent with a ozone generator in the vent and a fan pulling the hot air out. I also put a gallon jug of frozen water in my reservoir. All of that and a fan blowing on my lights manages to keep the heat at an acceptable level.

For you, having the bulbs vented with cool tubes might be the best option. You'd need 2 vents, one to bring fresh air into the cool tubes and another vent to exhaust the hot air. This way the exhaust air will not carry any marijuana scent. You should probably exhaust to the attic as the heat from 4 1000 watt bulbs would carry quite a signature if vented directly to the outside. You might could save some money by venting into your heating duct during winter. 4 1k watt bulbs might just heat your house.
