that's cool, I'm going to be sampling /testing my super potent oil extraction...

4 oz of extra virgin coconut oil with soy lecithin in it...

and capsules...
It may just be my eyes but your oil almost looks like it has a tent of purple to it....is it just me or does it and if so why does it look like that.......and you're suggesting that you can reuse canna oil. for instance if i made a batch of coconut oil 4cups and say 3oz herb. I can use the canna oil that was made from that batch AGAIN to extract more cannabis into it on a second run?

I didn't see any purple and there isn't much reason for it to be purple but I've heard of certain cannabinoids producing a purple tinge...

yeah you definitely can, I recommend adding a small amount of oil to account for oil lost in straniing (1/6th cup or something)

bad kitty and rick simpson are laughable, this thread is rediculous, must be interesting having a coat of terpenes on your brownies, im surprised that your brownies are even edible? i mean how do you cook off the egg and water in order to not have mush, does that recondense too? you provide zero refrences except for bad kit, who like you doesnt know any chemistryand yes it does say something that they made you a global mod, not sure what though...i suppose you must be a great grower. i have several degrees in pharmacy and chemistry. if you cant provide a single thing to back what you say, nobody will listen to you.. if you want i can explain to you the chem behind extraction techniques, this thread is just like the vacuum distillation thread like a week ago

I also reference skunkpharm llc, are they laughable too?

I'd be thrilled to discuss this further with you

ok lets try this, a factual statement would be , terpenes are composed of 5 carbon isoprene units linked together head to tail forming a ring, obviously NONE of these are soluble in water because hydrocarbons are what makes up butane hexane octane etc.. what you could have said was monoterpenes and some sesquiterpenes form azeotropic mixture with water.now then either way they are lost when baking i was just trying to give you an example of how to explain your position intelligently

no i like skunk pharm, notice on their cite how they provide a scientific background and reason why. theve never quoted anyone. if you have to quote them you obviously dont have a true understanding... im done here

so the whole water soluble terpenes thing was made up? that's kind of surprising.

then there's the other aspect of low boiling points of these terpenes... and if they are even worth working to save...

well that was extremely short discussion, you're done already?
