i searched around the forums and couldn't really find a good diy light moving rail. i did some research and found this.

I dont know a lot about robotics, but from the decent amount i know about electricity, it seems legit. i haven't tried it yet, but i plan to. for anyone who has, how did it turn out? and what wattage did you use for your motor? the legit light rails you can get for 200$ use a 5 watt motor i beleive, so it'd be in that ball park i assume. i know this diy doesnt account for everything people want in a light mover (ie end delay), but i was hoping instead of pointing out whats missing, maybe everyone with a bit of knowledge could share some and we could have a complete DIY instructions soon. so any questions/concerns/ helpful additions?
