This is just my first grow, but my plants were all about 4 inches tall at 28 days. FFOF soil and water, nothing else. All indica dominant strains. From what I've read, the plant is working on it's root mass early on. The plants will hit their stride in time. On day 38, most my plants were between 11 and 14 inches tall.

Here's a pic at 28 days:

Where to begin -- indica-dominant strains grow at pretty much an inch a day. I've got 11 plants going now that have been in dirt 6 weeks.
They are all 30-42 inches tall. FF nutes are meager. Look at the label, one I saw the other day was 0.1-0.3-0.1. By comparison the nutes I veg with are
24-8-16, hundreds of times more nutes! So get back to basics, MiracleGro potting soil and nutes will have your plants bigger and stronger than the designer nutes you are using.

Big Steve your talking about big bloom which is to be used as a supplement with grow big and tiger bloom. I use fox farm nutes and have no issues.

like CEEJR said the big bloom is a additive/base for their grow big and tiger bloom ... hence why they call it the FF trio. have patience you can't speed up nature without effecting one thing or another.

14 days from what?

ungerminated seed?
germinated seed with taproot?
first sprout?

I've heard all three used as the base for age, but there could be a week between them. Either way, I don't think you have anything to worry about. If they were going to not grow, they would have done it by now!

it all depends on the type of strain and light used, but if they're not dead they're obviously doing something still..
