How strong is Tinture

Depends on how you make it really(amount of product used). I make mine with vegetable glycerine and let it stew in a croc pot for some days on about 180degrees or so. Got a cool stirring apparatus that stirs all the time so it doesn't get settled. It'll knock ya down most def if you take enough too. I very seldom take a lot of it though, just enough to feel better and I'm good. If its the nite though ill lite myself up with it, seeing as the day is done and I can actually relax for the day.

Ok thanks I got a magical butter as a gift so I plan on making some.

You throw the plant material in it? Or hash? Oil? Strain it?

If I remember correctly glycerin only holds 30% of what the same volume of ethanol will hold. Glycerine is not a very efficient solvent, potency is relatively much lower than butter or etoh
