like a fart downwind. just as strong as it would be if growing inside, prolly stronger. some smell stronger than others, some smell fruitier/ lemonier, or skunkier as well. but yes they will smell!

it does have a nice distinctive aroma but you have to be directly down wind to smell,
and then they have to track it .(the human nose is not that good)

I beg to differ, I've found plenty of grows just by scent. no I don't rip. if that's what your thinking. but if you do like toucan sam and 'follow your nose' you can smell dope downwind. you just gotta make sure your downwind cuz if the wind changes direction, your outta luck! usually I'll wait till the wind comes back and then I'll pick it up again.

yes you are correct i to can find a plot by tracking the smell(i dont touch it either but i do leave a note letting them know i found it)

me and a few of my mates do a bit of hiking (thats how i stumble upon the plots)i get a wiff and of i go,but not one of my buddies can even follow the scent.

so it smells then. i live in quite a quiet area so i should not be a mayja problem, but is the smell one that some one not used to or doest knows the smell of weed , would pick up on as a strange smell and might start snoping around to find out what it is?

It's in the eye or nose of the beholder, a reefer rat can smell twisty plants a mile away, as some cop's can. If you're in the quiet area I'd worry more about heliCOPter than the smell.

define 'quiet area'. just because its quiet doesn't mean it's safe. maybe it's quiet cuz of the old age home down by the way, or the deaf children area, don't mean they lost their inability to smell too. so where is it to make it so quiet?

and another thing, I never just assume that there's an off chance that maybe ppl don't know what it smells like. I'n my head, EVERYONE know's what it smells like!!! don't assume! but if you wanna know a lil tidbit of info to ease your mind that you prolly don't know is that fresh weed smells like a skunk. unless you got a good nose to distinguish between the two, most ppl will think it's just a skunk

well i live in my garage which is seprate from the house which is great for indoor growing, i have two grow room in side my room and my mum and dad are no the wiser :) but i was going to tell them about the outside ones.

i live ont the corrner of a T shaped road. the biggest proplem is that the plot behind my house has just been bought and the people who are going to build a house on it are living in a caravan on the plot and are ALWAYS in there garden.

the pic (not the best) shows the area.

no offence, but that is ithe worst place I've ever seen to grow. there's houses all over the place for starters. secondly, how old are you? you think your mature enough to grow? personally growing in your parents house i think is very irresponsible so I"d have to say wait til you grow up a bit, get your own place then decide. hopefully by then you'll have read enough info here to know how to grow and where to grow.
