How soon does a male plant produce pollen?

I have a male plant and I would like to cross it with a blueberry and another white widow so I can get some better seeds then what I have presently. What I don't want is millions of seeds in my buds. I know I would have better luck if I could seperate the male from the females in a tightly controlled atmosphere where no unwanted pollen could escape. This really is not an option for me right now so what I was thinking is just leave it in there til its produced some pollen then I would chop it.

Anyone else have any ideas?

you can seperate the male it will grow and produce pollen with any amount and kind of light window, cfl, flour, hid, or hps.
If you seperate you can control pollen delivery to a few lower buds not hole plant.
normally male start to produce pollen a couple weeks before fem and go to a couple weeks after.
male flower is seed pods seeds will grow then open like flower then drop pollen keep an eye on cycle.

Putting it outside is not an option.

I think I will leave it up because I really want some quality seeds. I will just cut it down as soon as I am guaranteed some seeds.
