I am finishing up my 1st grow and wanted to know if I could remove the fan leaves a day or two before I cut my gals down? I have 2 autos Early Miss by Crop King Seeds in 5gal fabric pot also a Northern Lights auto but its a week or two behind the Early Miss. Want to limit the time out of the tent due to they smell very strong. Going to dry them in a cardboard box in my tent so my filter kills the smell. If I can trim off fan leave before hand shouldn't take as long to trim and hang. Let me know your thoughts... Thanks.

I usually strip them a day or two before I chop ..... That's if it even has any fans left on It after a 2 week leech

Ok, cool so I won't hurt it if I do. Thats great to hear! Thanks man.
by the time harvest rolls around you have a week or two window depending on trichs .... so you can do whatever pretty much if the plants already in the zone .... usually ill water a bit so the plant is springy and then let it dry up before chop ......

Great info! Trying to learn everything I can before I chop. Today is day 62, my target is about 80 days but she will tell me when she is ready just like every other female has lol.

I use cane poles and plastic to build an air lock on the front of my 2x4 cab.

I tape it to the cab, you could do the same with a tent.

I get in it with a chair and small table, tape shut and go to work. Its like you're sitting in the tent. No smell gets out.

Not a bad idea. I figure if I cut fan leaves off one day, then the next day I can I can just cut off one branch at a time and leave the plant in the tent. That should help a lot with the smell. I have a ONA deodorizer 32oz linen sent since my tent is in the laundry room. Those are powerful I break it out when I open my tent last forever 16.99 on ebay. I also have a giant exhaust fan in my ceiling upstairs that blows into the attic. Sucks air from outside through my house sucking smell with it. Great in spring and fall will cool the house down 5+ degrees in the evening and mid morning. I use it when I make edibles, lucky to have it!
