The only way to really find out is to order.

I got my shit in tact.

What your story? Custom got you mad?

lol its really easy in california to get your MM license. I was 20 years old when i got mine, and all i did was get on file with a real (one that doesn't prescribe medical marijuana) doctor about some back pain, you know have a follow up to make it look legit, he offered some pain-killers and i told him that i don't like to take prescription drugs and found that Marijuana relieves my pain and is far better on my body (liver wise, not having to process man-made drugs). and you know what happened next.... my doctor, the one i have had since i was a kid, gave me a referral to a doctor that was know for prescribing medical marijuana. 1 week later, $55 walk-in appointment, $65 MM License (not to mention the $50 each club wants for membership) , and an extra $15 for a cultivation license.... medical marijuana... priceless....

Its really that easy in California.... i feel sorry for the other states....
wtf you talking about cultivation license in cali we're legally allowed to grow up to 6 plants.. does the license let u grow more?

No thats determined by county, i was just saying that when you go to get your license (or when I did) it was extra for the license to grow.

Hi all,

I'm from Australia and it's hard to order seeds here.
Customs are pretty strict on anything that is deemed to be 'alive'. I'm not sure how it works in the rest of the world but customs will send you a letter notifying you that the seed have been seized and that if you want them then go to court to TRY and get them or they will be destroyed. Needles to say a lot of seeds get destroyed here in Aus every day. The main thing is it's not illegal to 'buy' seeds but it's illegal to bring them into the country and grow them.
The best thing to do is get them sent to someone else's house, a long way away from where you are going to grow them, that way if they do get through, you can be sure the 5.0 aren't keeping a track of where they end up.

Hope all this helps otherwise it has taken away 5 minutes of my life i will never get back and that sucks! O'well, Billie time!

Don't be paranoid, just be cautious. The advice to avoid sending to a location that may jeopardize an operation should be noted and not forgotten. Here is the deal on the mail in the US. Let me just state that I know a great deal about "importing" and how customs works in the US. I personally know people that received dozens, yes, dozens of LL's (love letters or seizure notices etc.) and never had a copper come to their home or office. To this day, they still receive to these addresses. Remember, customs only checks less than 5% of cargo containers and while the mail is somewhat easier to screen, the sheer magnitude and quantity of items makes it certain many shipments will make it through to you. If not and customs snags it, guess what, the numbers game begins again. How big was the shipment? Where does it rate on our national security and political agendas? How much resources do we have to pursue this and to what end? I venture to say, 99.9 % of seizures lead to nothing more that a standard LL from CBP (Customs and Border Patrol). For a while, I even saw some DHS letterheads out there. All of these letters do tend to scare the shit out of folks though. lol

Few ppl that ordered small amounts of almost anything have EVER been arrested. Don't listen to the hysteria which frightens so many. Thousands of illegal shipments make it through the mail EVERY day. The trigger is almost always quantity and or those who ordered the wrong substance, like coke, ketemin, etc. This is not to say they will not pursue a case over seeds. I think it would come down to few facts such as the total quantity and or if multiple strains were present in the seizure as this might indicate something bigger and more tasty down the food chain. Don't be cheap! Pay the extra postage and break your orders up! I have never known a good source that would not do this if compensated for the postage. Not one, ever. Just ask and I almost guarantee they say yes. If not, use another source. This is very important so heed this if nothing else that I have written. The next major mistake purchasers and sources make is expedited delivery. I seen so many sources of other items, not seeds however, go out of business after offering this shipping method. From my experience, this is usually why many established, veteran shippers do not offer express shipping. Resist this urge. DO NOT USE ANY EXPRESS SHIPPING if you wish to reduce seizure rates. The odds of a seizure rise meteorically when shipping this way. All express mail / packages are treated and handled 100% differently. There is little need for me to detail how this works but suffice to say your risks of seizure go up exponentially when shipping this way. Are people receiving express shipments like this every day? You bet but I strongly encourage better planning, patience and standard shipping.

As one member wrote, "order, what order?" The biggest challenge is proving the case and certainly any serious charges that may arise. If you send a MO, cash, use Western Union (correctly), cover /clean your Internet /PC tracks and all that good stuff, you give your lawyer a lot to work with if anything bad does happen. In the most unlikely occurrence that you are confronted when retrieving the mail (most common method), don't talk, lawyer up immediately and LEO will have to struggle just to get a possession charge to stick. If you are careful in the execution of your order, an analogy is very much like junk mail can be drawn. Just because it may have your address on it, this by itself does not prove you ordered or requested such items to be delivered to you. Period. The case will have to be made elsewhere unless you decide to "talk" your way out of it, use your normal CC, or any of 100 other dumb or careless things ppl do. Don't be paranoid, just be cautious.

yea personally i wouldnt sweat it but i would do my ordering out of the uk as opposed to the netherlands. from what i have read in other posts on this site customs seem to keep a beter on eye on shit comming outta countries with an open drug use policy.

I know this guy that was from alaska and he had no problems at all ordering seeds over the internet :P. but up in alaska they have some pretty laid back pot laws. anything less then 4 ozs. is only a misdomeaner (and with whole plants they only count usable material and seeds) also as long as you keep it in your home you can have an oz or less legally. As far as growing plants you are allowed up to 2 plants w/o a medical card as long as they are in your home.

check this thread out it may help clear the air a bit for you

You can order seeds with very little worries if you always make sure to follow simple saftey rules.
Never order in your real name
never to your own addrerss or any address you might grow at or have paraphanailia at
dont use your bank account number
dont use your real credit card use prepaid annonomous cards
dont buy large amounts of seeds
Now usually what happens if they get found by customs is you get a letter of confiscation for the items your were recieving are illegal in the United States if you get caught a few times they may come see you face to face so switch order info and address occassionally.I saw you ask about Oklahoma which that stae is messed up some very stiff heavy penalties on weed there.Thats one of thos states you drive around instead of go through lol.Seeds for the most partcan be pretty safe but like with all grows if you cant do the time dont do the crime.growing can cost you your home, cars, bank accounts and time from your free life.Have agood day

I think Ive read using debit cards is okay. Like the pre-paid credit cards, that you re-load. What if that card is in my name?

And what are some options for where to send the seeds?

Prepaid visa cards require no personal info to purchase, the only problem is the one i bought could not be used outside the US.

Pre-paid cards are gaining support in markets across the globe, its only a matter of time till internet purchases via normal credit cards are replaced. Pre-paid cards are getting much safer, easier to detect fraud, and becoming readily available.

Honestly pre-paid credit cards are going to be huge here in a couple years... just wait in 2010 someone will stumble on this post and wish they invested in pre-paid card companies back in 2008 :D

I have ordered seeds 4 times from the same place and usually get them within a week, I have been using the seed boutique and have been real happy with the service, all the seeds i ordered have made it through customs without a problem, they only keep the absolute info they need on hand for 3 months. I would without hesitation order from them again. They tossed in 5 free seeds on 3 of the orders, the free seeds were the same strain all 3 times, it would be nice if they mixed it up a bit but it's all good.

Yeah I think the prepaid credit card is a good idea...there is no way to trace that and if you order from a public computer i feel lik you would be completely untraceable...at that point it would a just be a matter of where you were going to send it...maybe to a friends house with a fake name so that even if they do pursue the location of the seeds (which seems highly unlikely) then they would have no evidence of any operation...just a thought :peace:

I dunno I would think PO box is the same as sending it to an address b/c its linked to your address anyway...but like others have said I think the worst that will happen is that the seeds will be confiscated
