very reflective - i think it goes something like this (from most to least reflective for growing):
1) mylar (if hung correctly)
2) white plastic
3) flat white paint
forgot to add it is also easier to clean and install than mylar. i use mylar and sometimes i wish i would have just used panda plastic (black on side/white on the other).
o ok nice.nice ya i first applied black and the staped white over top of it. i was to cheap to go out and buy panda plastic. it looks bright, is there much of a difference between mylar and plastic. besides mylar lookine fucking awesome.
well technically -- white is the absence of color (no hue). Every grow book i've ever read (which isn't that many) claims mylar as the best surface to use in a grow room - if hung correctly. With plastic being second and aluminum (tin) foil and mirrors being universally condemned.
But i've never verified this with a photometer or light meter so i'm open to other opinions.
why the bad rap on foil? if put on DULL side out, it works pretty good. I am not sayign it's the bees knees, but it works and it's cheap. for about $5 you can do an entire 10x10 room.
