How old will my plants be when they show signs of sex?

i have 2 plants 14 days old each, and im wondering when the male balls, or the female pistol will actualy be visable to me, at how old usualy do they start to show?

someone here must be experianced enuff to answer my question??

14 days of the flowering or vegatative

They might show pre-flowers if you veg long enough but switching them to 12/12 will tell you pretty quickly

but in total age, can one estimate in weeks or days when aproximatly you can tell, or is it so totaly differnt for each plant?

No idea, I think it's one of those you know when you see it types of things rather than a right at 14 days type deal. Answering njkush might help too

Preflowers are hard to see, and often unreliable. The best way to find out is to put them in a 12/12 schedule. Only then will you know for sure (and it can take anywhere from 3-14 days for them to show)

EDIT: Preflowers usually show in 2-4 months (a broad range, I know). And as I said, these are often hard to read, and its very easy to confuse a female for a male with preflowers.
