how often do i water my seeds

ok had 5 fems in water for 24 hours, planted them into big pots right off the mark,

i have them under a hps so the grow area is warm,

Now i have given them a nice watering, how often do i water them from now till they break ground.?

i defiantly don't want them to get dry do i, i just dont want to over do it with water is all, how often a day should i water them dudes?

just make sure the medium is moist andn put cling film over the top ov the pots, it will serve as a little green house keeping it from drying out. once it breaks surface remove the film.

If it's your first grow you might want to stick to once a week to keep from over watering them. You can do a complete grow on once a week waterings.

Especially since you are starting in a big pot you will be fine.

That will give you a good startingpoint for how little water the plants really need, so when you start thinking you need to water them 3 times a day you will know better.

the thing is tho, my HPS lamp will dry the top out within a day.. also i've done grows before but.. not for a year ... and i've already planted some diesel auto flowering strain all never made it to the top, then i ordered 5 lowryder fems same deal none made it to the top........ i had them in toilet paper and germed them till i saw the sprout like how i remember my other grows..... but i did add a very week nute mix to the water i was using... so i am hoping that is where i went wrong,

this time i put 5 PPP fems into a cup of water for 24 hours, non sprouted but it normally takes like 48 hours before i see that... i planted all 5 today in big pots and gave them a good watering... going to just use water this time... i really hope they reach the top i cant take losing another batch like this 30 for the diesel, 50 for the lowryders... and this batch of ppp cost me 30 ... once they reach the top i'll be fine.. never ever had a problem with germing seeds before i really hope this batch make it

just don'tlet the soil dry out and you wellbe fine. good luck

The top doesn't matter, do you know how much soil is below the top ?

I've seen 2 litre bottles used under hps, watered once a week and the plants grew fine.

You don't have to believe me and can do what you want all I can do is share what I have seen over the years.

keep seedlings a good distance away from the hps .lower the bulb when u got at least 4/6 leafs per plant. and i use no nutes until them little round floppy leafs are dying off as they have nutes in them. also how deep did u plant the seeds? i plant mine a bit different to other people and they all sprout.

i planted them just under the soil, they had been soaking all night in a cup of water

sounds ok. u just gota wait for your hatchlings m8 good look

and when you do water i wouldnt over over them if ther in big pots do a ring of waer around the seed and use plastic wrap....

took a pot out of the grow bay today,.. moved some soil about to have a look at what is going on... root has sprung out of it.. i covered it back up watered it put it back with the others... comon!!!!!!!!! please break ground... maybe another 2 days after that i will be worried hope i didn't kill that seed today... i've looked at them before like that and put them back they still made it......... COMON BABYS!!!!!!!!!!

got them on Tuesday at 11 AM... stuck them in mountain water for 24 hours... planted them the next day at 11 AM..... so they have been underground from 11 AM Wednesday... Friday today 8:30 AM so less then 48 hours.....

fuck i remember back to my first grow i never removed the males... grapefruit/ AK 47 cross i ended up with like 200 seeds.... i remember just throwing them in the back of my draw . then going down the garden centre and they had a skip of old pots i got about 40 small pots .... planted like 2 in each pot 80 percent made it i was swimming in haclings ..... now this.... i cant even get 1 to break ground...
