How much weight lost during dry/cure?

I heard you will lose about 75% of your weight when it dries which makes sense because most growers get about .5 grams per watt so my guess is you will get about 200 maybe 250 grams dried

4.75 ounces dried. Of course none of us asked or know how wet that bud was. Did you withhold watering for 5 days? Was it soil or hydro? I'm guessing in the middle and think you'll be close to 5 ounces if the bud was wet. If the plants were dry and needed watering when you chopped, you are probably closer to 7 ounces.

i seen an article that said bud should be between 10-15% water weight so youll between 85-90% if you do it correctly.. any more water left in the buds would lead to problems such as mold

i weighed out a single jar that appears to be dry. It was 23g wet, and 7g when I weight it dry. I am going to wait for the rest to finish drying before I weigh it.

It doesn't start out as 100% water though.

I know I was baked when I weighed this stuff. I labeled each of the 13 jars with identification info including wet weight. When I add up the wet weights I wrote down I get 916 grams not 680. Not sure how that happened, other than being heavily medicated. So everyone's predictions should be scaled up by 1.35.

So it was 916 grams wet and I have 167 dry now. I have been testing a couple joints every night for the past 3 or 4 days since I ran out of smoke. I estimated the jars below what they actually were, because I still expect some of them to dry a little more. I've already lost 82% of the weight.
