How Much Veg Nutes To Give In Flowering +rep

So in your opinion niteogen will not hurt flowering or make it take longer? So as long as my foliage is healthy and green I'm giving it a okay amount? I think ill start adding a little in with the bloom nutes each time maybe 1 ml of grow.

Nitrogen definitely does not extend flowering periods. The only way it could 'hurt flowering' is if you're supplying too much (ie. overfeeding) but that's the case with any of the elements. In most cases, we 'hurt flowering' by supplying too much phosphorus.

If you make a tweak, 1ml wont do anything. Try 50/50. Trust me, you'll never be phosphorus deficient with those formulas and supplying more P and K than your plants actually need doesn't equal more weight.

I feed N up until week 7 of flower. Just enough to keep them green. I find my overall yields are better keeping them green. As far as taste I have no negative taste from giving N. It's all in the dry and cure.

Agreed to all statements. You want your plants to stay nice and green, healthy plants mean better end results. Toward the end of the plants life cycle it is common for yellowing as the plant begins to shut down/die. Marijuana is a seasonal plant that dies naturally towards the end of fall (yes they can be re vegged by tricking the plant and they will live and produce again) they would then drop the buds and dispense the seeds so the cycle can start again in the spring. We are talking like week 10-12ish of flower which the plants should have been pulled by then, if you have yellowing leafs in like week 4-9 or until finish then your plant ran out of nitrogen and you should have feed it a little more threw the grow. Pro Bloom's NPK is 1-4-5 and the Bio Root that I feed threw out the grow is a 1-1-1 so they are getting nitrogen from that as well as the soil since FFOF is so rich in nutes. You will learn to read your plants after you get a few grows under your belt and as said that is the best way to tell what your plants want and need. Hope you get it worked out and corrected and that your harvest is good, happy growing.

I used to fight this all the time...now I run micro, grow, and bloom for the full cycle. This has done nothing for taste but keeping your girls green and healthy has increased my yeild. If your worried about taste and flavor add a couple of days to your final flush.

HB pretty much hit this one on the head.

Homebrew since I had been using 12ml bloom and 2 ml of hydroplex should I just do 7ml bloom and 7ml of grow since you said I should give 50/50 a shot??

It's more than I'd feed personally but you could make it easy on yourself and just do a teaspoon of each per gallon.

In flower I'm using DG at 5ml grow, 15ml bloom per 4 gallons of water in dwc (550ppm). I almost feel my leaves are too dark green... they have been that way since veg. I feel like if I just ran grow it would be way too much N. Guess that's where it comes down to listening to what my plants are telling me.

Hydro is different than 'dirt' as you can get away with supplying less N yet the plants seem like they utilize it very efficiently.
