depends how your gonna grow. youd get 2 completely different answers if you were going SOG as opposed to just letting a certain amount grow big.

anywhere from 45 to 180 square feet. Just a ballpark indoor figure. And as stated by ADTR, depends on your growin style.

Dude, get with it. If ya'll don't get busted it'll come down to a fight over pot or money in the end. Not to mention the number one rule of growing is don't tell anyone. Plus the initial investment and constant upkeep of hydro. And all of that aside, how much does your cousin know about growing?

I use Megagardens from GH. They each have 15 plant sites and are 22x22. Growing SOG you could get 45 plants in a 22x66 inch space. It's tight though. You might want to use larger pots (I will be on my next grow) which would cut down the number of plants per garden.

A book doesn't buy you experience. Just go to the indoor growing forum and start reading on page one. Take it from there. You can't just jump on riu and ask the type of questions you're seeking answers to. Sorry if I'm coming off as a buzzkill but thats just how it is. I wish you and your cuz the best of luck though.

depends on size but the better question would be is how much light.. if u grow big fukers in a 12X12 area a 400w aint gonna cut it

well y dont u tell us so we can assist ur question better.. and u can nvr know everything... every strain is diff and new ideas and technics pop up all the time.. even many new technics r old...

i agree here... things can go sour.. power to u if it doesnt but be prepared for it!!!

you could grow 45 plants in a 10x10 room if you wanted to, they would all be 1' tall though. Your cousin, should know what kind of setup will hold x amount of plants in x space if he has 'read a book.' Using trays would save space but get lower yield per plant, using 5 gallon buckets with drips would consume more space, but almost double the yield. The correct question is light wattage per plant x space = achieving 45 plants in area.
